Patrick Masebo

Founder, Researcher, and Human Rights Advocate

Patrick Masebo, founder of PMUNIVERSAL CIC, is an experienced leader in the refugee sector, specialising in co-production, research and evaluation. and has a rich background in projects related to refugees and asylum seekers. Patrick's work with Refugee Action on early action initiatives and with The Greater Manchester Center of Voluntary Organisation on refugee and migrant entrepreneurs' access to social investment showcases his commitment to creating positive change. Currently, he leads an advisory and advocacy group of refugees and asylum seekers as the Expert by Experience coordinator within the Step Change partnership in Greater Manchester.

Russel Mbaya

Project Coordinator and Human Rights Advocate

Russel Subayi Mbaya, is an Expert by Experience and a former member of RAS Voice. Russel has volunteered with the UK British Red Cross as a caseworker and interpreter. He has certified training from The Asylum Support Appeal Project (ASAP) and has worked as an independent consultant for Pathway Consulting Africa which is the first firm in Central Africa to develop a sustainable system- Make it simple- Make it last

Tina Puryear

Facilitator, Researcher, and Human Rights Advocate

Tina Puryear is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in facilitation, capacity building, project management, and human rights advocacy. Her work spans participatory strategic planning, theories of change, and participatory research, emphasising co-production and participatory decision-making. Tina's advocacy efforts extend to grassroots networks, UK statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, and international NGOs, particularly in improving access to healthcare and social services. Of particular relevance is her time at Freedom from Torture, where much of her department’s focus was on improving access to health, mental heath and social care services for survivors of torture. Tina is a Certified Professional Facilitator with the International Association of Facilitators.
